Letting my Awesome Out!!! And art journal cover...

Using water color painting, this cover was created by spraying the colors on then dipping a paint brush in water and running it over the excess spray.  To complete the look I lifted the paper and allowed the colors to run through each other.  This allows a streaking effect, rather than the colors blending and mudding together.  To do this page I used Timeless, Waimea Bay, Guacamole and Plush sprays all from Art Anthology.

Once this was dry I added some texture with a favorite butterfly stamp and matching mask and a Ranger ink old paper.

Now it is time to make the pretty flowers.  I found this great embellishment at a local fabric store.  Using Art Anthology's Barbie, Timeless and Fiesta paints, I hand pained some of the ribbons.  Using my heat gun I dried them and attached them to my cover using Glossy Accents.  This created my flowers.

Finally I added my saying.  I used my inkjet to print my own letters.  Then I used Sandcastle and Champaign from Art Anthology to give it the antique look.  I added my butterflies and trailed them with Pickle to finish the look off.
