The baby book beat the baby!

Have you ever started a gift for someone when you had a ton of time, then all of the sudden you didn't and the gift was DUE!!  Literally!!!  That happened to me!  I have a friend who found out she was pregnant, so I bought this cute little book pattern from Paper Phenomenon.  Making the book was a snap, all I had to do was finish embellishing it.  Should have been a piece of cake...right?
Well I finished it today and the best part is she isn't due for 2 more weeks!
Thought I would share some of my favorite pages from the book.  I used 1 8x8 pad of Simple Stories Hello Baby line, along with a few coordinating 12x12 pages.  AND of course nothing I do will ever be complete with a little Heidi Swapp somewhere in there :)

The turquoise I am holding into is a pocket that pulls out.  On the next two pages I made the papers flip tops to add more room for photos.

This is the front, I struggles with what to do, because I do know the baby's name, but I do NOT like to tempt fate in such ways.  So I decided to use these blingy brads I had left over from a Close to My Heart page.  I think it looks kind of like overalls which is good because its a boy!
